Your exercise routine is missing this...

I’ve been thinking about something after I posted the 8 Timeless Movements video.

A few people commented that it felt like “too many exercises.”

Which is fair....I showed a lot of exercises in that video.

But it also highlights something important.

If you’re looking at training through the lens of exercises…
everything will feel like too much.

Too many options.
Too much to do.
Not enough time.

But when you zoom out and look at movement…
things actually get simpler.

You’re not trying to collect exercises anymore.
You’re building around a few key movement patterns that everything connects back to.

That foundation simplifies and organizes the noise while also opening the door for expansion, exploration and progression.

That shift changes how you train AND how your body actually responds to it.

I just dropped a video that dives into this very topic. So if you're tired of feeling overwhelmed by tons of exercises, I anticipate that this one will simplify the bigger topic of MOVEMENT for you.

If you dig it, leave a comment, hype the video and share it with your friends!

More recently, we connected over the natural process of aging and how fitness culture frames it as a bad thing...like its something you need to prevent or reverse. And we came up with a list of moves...

Push-ups used to give me a tight neck, painful shoulders and cranky elbows. I could do em, but they broke me down. I remember when I was working a marketing job in tech. Our startup was growing, and so was my waistline. It was't a ton of weight but I noticed it early and wanted to do something about it. I decided that I'd do 5 pushups for every sale that came in. At first, this was 30-50 pushups a day. But that quickly turned into 100-200 a day. I started sweating through my dress shirt but...

Last weekend, I guided a group of men through movement at a retreat. This wasn't a movement retreat, so I was brought in to facilitate a daily 1 hour practice that met the needs of the attendees. Now, the younger me would've tried to prove myself and my approach by putting together hard workouts with challenging and complex movements. But I've been doing this stuff long enough that I know its more about providing practices that are applicable to whoever I'm guiding. These guys were in their...
